Pobedy Square is the biggest square in Vitebsk. Its area is 380 x 190 meters. The center of the architectural composition is a memorial complex, located on one of the Western Dvina banks. The memorial was built to pay tribute to the Soviet soldiers, partisans, and secret organizations of Vitebsk. “The Eternal Flame” is lit in their honor. The square has sculptural compositions, fountains, decorative flower-beds and lawns. Here diverse parades, demonstrations and festive events traditionally take place. There will be a ceremony of laying flowers and paying tribute to war participants at the memorial during the Festival. | |  | 20:00
